Max and his preteen daughter, Everly, are interviewing nannies to help out with Everly for the summer. A Zaddy is a hot, intelligent older man who knows how to handle business inside and outside the bedroom. I also loved all the little side stories to this one that made it a great, complete package – Cozy’s love of romance books by Mercedes Loveletter, her charcuterie board creations, Max’s involvement in LGBTQ+ charities, and Max’s three brothers who make a few appearances. This was another very solid installment in the series, though it's also easy to read as a standalone - and here's hoping it's the start of a spinoff series. One problem: Max's little girl thinks this plus-sized in body and spirit nanny might be her new bestie, so she hires her on the spot.

audiobook) Once again, the author mixes a deliciously sexy romcom with a generous amount of serious questions about life and relationships.I could tell with the meeting of his friends and how those characters were developed that they must have books too from this author, but I think not having read them was fine too. The only teeny-weeny thing I would've liked is the scene together after they first said 'I love you' and said it while being 'together'. Cozy is a plus-size girl who is adapting to a new outlook on life, ‘why do more when you can do less. Who doesn't want to experience, 'why do more when you can do nothing' I regularly have nothing days, I love them! Do you feel weighed down by stress and pressure, held back by judgement and lack of opportunity, and critcised by everyone – including yourself?

I've read romances that were total trash (I define this by zero effort, paint-by-numbers, author not even trying), this isn't trash (by my definition) because Daws obviously puts work into it, but I can't with the sexual dynamics here.I was waiting patiently for this book to come out, I thought Daws would stay in the Harris world forever and never finish this series, which is part of the reason why I was disappointed with this book.
